Site Content Portfolio

The Field Guide Collection

This page presents the guide collection hosted on this site. It lists the five categories and fifteen guides that make up the published library, and describes how the content is structured and presented. It is a portfolio of website content, not a record of employment or professional project history.

Before you begin

  • Fifteen guides sit across five categories.
  • Each guide shows category, reading time, updated date, contents, takeaways, related guides, and source panels where applicable.
  • Firearm safety, archery, hunting, and game-food pages are scoped for awareness, not operating procedure.
  • Supporting pages cover orientation, methodology, and policy.
  • This collection is not presented as Edward's employment or professional project history.

The Five Categories

The library is grouped into five categories that organise the fifteen published guides. These are Fishing, Bush safety, Hunting & ethics, Archery, and Firearm safety. The categories are navigation labels rather than separate publications.

Each rendered guide carries its category in the page header, allowing readers to move through the library by subject area. The total count of fifteen guides includes all current entries in those five groupings.

  • Fishing and Bush safety cover field awareness.
  • Hunting & ethics covers conduct and field decisions.
  • Archery and Firearm safety cover bow and firearm awareness.

What Each Guide Contains

Every guide uses the shared renderer. Its header shows category, estimated reading time and updated date. A contents list sits beside the article body, and a takeaways panel appears before the main sections.

Where sources are supplied, an official-resource panel appears near the end of the article. Related-guide cards follow the article. The updated date records a substantive content revision; it is not evidence of legal review or expert endorsement.

  • Headers show category, reading time and updated date
  • The contents list sits beside the body and takeaways appear first
  • Source panels appear only where sources are supplied
  • Related-guide cards follow the article

Safety-First Framing

Firearm safety, archery, hunting and ethics, and game-food pages remain in the collection, but the rebuild frames them around authority checks, qualified instruction, conservative stop conditions and general awareness. These pages do not establish readiness for a regulated or risk-sensitive activity.

Readers who need individual instruction should consult a suitably qualified instructor or the relevant state or territory authority. Recommendations on this site are not legal mandates, and jurisdiction-specific questions are returned to the responsible authority.

  • Risk-sensitive guides emphasise authority checks and qualified instruction.
  • Jurisdiction questions go to the responsible authority.
  • Recommendations are starting points, not legal rules.

Supporting Pages and Site Features

Alongside the guides, the site carries Start Here, FAQ, Official Resources, Reading Series, Field Journal, Guide Archive, Guide Portfolio, On-Site Publications, Guide Method, Site Updates, Small Essentials, Privacy, and Terms. Each plays a defined role in orientation or policy.

Reserved pages exist for resume, credentials, speaking and testimonials. They contain deliberately limited copy and ask search engines not to index them until verified details are supplied.

  • Supporting pages cover orientation, method, and policy.
  • Legacy URLs redirect to current canonical pages.
  • Reserved pages remain deliberately limited and carry a noindex request

Portfolio Boundaries

This page describes the current website collection and its shared presentation. Treat it only as an inventory of published pages, categories and site features.

The generated route set and linked directories describe the current site structure. Public profile references use the X and YouTube links already supplied, while reserved pages remain limited until verified details are available.

  • Scope is the current fifteen-guide collection and supporting pages.
  • The generated directories reflect the current route set.
  • Public profile references use the supplied X and YouTube links.

The field standard

This portfolio describes only what is currently published on the site and how that content is structured. It is not Edward's employment history or professional project record. The reserved pages remain deliberately limited and carry a noindex request because verified details were not supplied.
